IPC ArtSpace presents fine art photography by Andy Sweet capturing the generous spirit and, at times, the problematic juxtaposition of Blacks and Jews and their shared experiences in Miami Beach.
The “Shared Spaces” is especially apparent in his depiction of African-Americans, shot as part of his Miami Beach Project from 1977 to 1981 alongside fellow photographer Gary Monroe. Sweet’s camera captured what they had in common, their humanity, experiences, and social spaces.

The exhibit runs through July 31. Don’t miss it!
