Over the past 20 years, Iris PhotoCollective has produced a number of exhibitions on themes of identity, place and culture, in collaboration with a broad network of other photojournalists and photographers of the highest caliber. The result is a series of thought-provoking visual explorations, shared with audiences through traveling exhibitions and publications.
iWitness is a photojournalism exhibition of 50 images by 25 of the world’s leading photojournalists who tell the human stories of the last quarter century. The exhibition is a collaboration by Miami Herald photojournalist Carl Juste and gallerist Bernice Steinbaum that brought together the works of twenty-five global contemporary photojournalists/artists. Participating artists are Lynsey Addario, Kursat Bayhan, Paula Bronstein, Jahi Chikwendiu, Andre Chung, Alan Diaz, Hector Emanuel, Colin Finlay, Bill Frakes, C.M. Guerrero, Andrew Innerarity, Andrew Kaufman, Andrew Lichtenstein, Pablo Martinez, Kirk. D. McKoy, Saikat Mojumder, Tom Pennington, Roger M. Richards, Michael Robinson Chavez, Jeffery A. Salter, Maggie Steber, Les Stone, Charles Trainor Jr., Shehab Uddin, and Nuri Vallbona.
